FINANCE: Loan servicer Hatfield Philips has appointed Rupert Gill and Karen Travis to its management team.
Gill joins from Lloyds, where he is currently a director in the bank’s structured debt syndication team. He will lead Hatfield Philips’ new debt advisory and transaction management business.
Travis joins from Morgan Stanley, where she was an investor relations, business planner and development specialist. She will lead Hatfield Philip’s marketing and business development activities.
The firm has added more than $1.75bn to its loan servicing book since the beginning of 2014, according to a mid-year business update published today.
The firm has successfully boarded 18 performing and non-performing loans, and has been appointed as servicer on five bilateral mandates. Hatfield Philips plans to board 48 additional loans by the end of July, according to this morning’s statement. The company also provided due diligence and advisory services on nine NPL deals of more than $25m and co-invested in two NPL transactions.
Hatfield Philips is also finalising a further co-investment opportunity on an NPL portfolio.
