Arlington has prelet 78,000 sq ft of warehousing at its 100-acre Hatfield Business Park, Manor Road, Hatfield, Herts, to Royal Mail at a rent rumoured to be some £6.75 per sq ft.
The former British Aerospace Dynamics site has planning consent for more than 1.1m sq ft of offices, industrial, warehousing and research and development accommodation. On the back of the preletting, work on site will begin next month. Agents for the scheme are Strutt & Parker, while Pepper Angliss & Yarwood introduced the tenant, who was advised by Freeth Melhuish.
