Havelock Europa has sold its Nottingham factory to Raleigh for £3.3m.
The sale comes two years earlier than the Fife-based retail and educational interiors company had budgeted for.
It closed the 17,465 sq m (188,000 sq ft) plant last year as part of a rationalisation plan.
