Distribution company Hays has signed for a 260,000 sq ft (24,160 sq m) warehouse at Richardson Developments’ Merlin Park II site in Birmingham.
Hays is paying £5.65 per sq ft (£60.82 per sq m) on a 15-year lease. Work will begin on site next week and Hays will start operating from the site in August.
Merlin Park’s 13-acre (5.26ha) scheme on Wood Lane, Erdington, near junction six of the A38(M), is part of the Fort Dunlop regeneration project.
