Golden Valley is set to deliver 1m sq ft of commercial space, targeting BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings, alongside 1,067 homes within green space, community services and amenities.
Proposals for the Golden Valley development were submitted in October 2023 and a second application featuring the National Cyber Innovation Centre will follow this summer.
Paul Jones, deputy chief executive of Cheltenham Borough Council, said the council was working with partners “who share our vision to create a hub for cyber and security” which, he added, “will protect Cheltenham’s future with jobs, training and career opportunities, while also creating a sustainable community”.
