Former Southern Cross employees have been named as new managing directors of NHP’s joint venture with Court Cavendish.
HC-One, which is the new operating company formed by landlord NHP and care homes operator Court Cavendish, said it had made several appointments to manage the 250 Southern Cross homes it will run from November.
Southern Cross regional directors Pam Finnis and Michael MacIntosh will be managing directors at the new company, with effect from 1 November.
In addition, Anne Williams CBE, former national director for learning disabilities for England, joins the HC-One board as a non-executive director.
Liam Scanlon, former regional regulation manager with the Welsh government’s care and social services inspectorate, has been appointed as the independent chair of HC-One’s safeguarding board and its quality forum.
HC-One chairman Dr Chai Patel said: “We understand that the last few months have been a worrying time for all involved and we are totally focused on operating with professional staff.”
