The Homes and Communities Agency’s former chief economist is to lead north west consultancy AMION Consulting’s expansion into London.
Simon Dancer, who has more than 17 years’ experience in regeneration, economic development and housing, will head up AMION’s new London office.
Liverpool-based AMION has been operating for more than 16 years, providing strategic and technical advice to clients across the UK, including Peel Holdings and Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester local authorities.
AMION chief executive Graham Russell said the London office launch would enable the company to build upon continued growth and better compete for significant London projects involving both the private and public sector.
Dancer’s experience includes working with a wide range of government departments, including HM Treasury, the Department for Communities and Local Government, Cabinet Office, the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, and the Department for Transport.
