The Hospital Corporation of America is under offer to lease 90,000 sq ft in the Shard, SE1, and has submitted plans for a change of use at the building.
The private healthcare provider, which operates from facilities in nearby Tooley Street, hopes to convert the fourth, fifth and sixth floors to dual healthcare and office use and is seeking approval from Southwark.
It has agreed terms with developer Sellar for around £55 per sq ft.
