Hammerson’s chief investment officer, Peter Cole, has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of healthcare facilities investor Primary Health Properties.
Cole has been a main board director of Hammerson since 1999 and implemented the disposal of the company’s London offices portfolio in 2012.
He has also headed some of Hammerson’s major regeneration projects including the Bullring in Birmingham, Victoria Gate in Leeds and Brent Cross shopping centre.
Steven Owen, chairman at Primary Health Properties, said: “The company will benefit from Peter’s experience in evaluating property investment opportunities, managing development projects, and undertaking asset management schemes.”
