Helical has made its first letting at 55 Bartholomew Close, EC1, bringing in hedge fund ShadowFall Capital & Research as a tenant.
ShadowFall has taken the top floor of the building on a five-year lease with a break option after three years, at a headline rent of £80 per sq ft.
The building is the third and final office building to be completed at Helical’s three-acre, mixed-use Barts Square estate. It was originally three Victorian townhouses but will now provide almost 11,000 sq ft of office space over five floors.
Barts Square includes 236 apartments, roughly 250,000 sq ft of office space and 10 retail and restaurant units.
