The “King of Spacs”, Ian Osborne, has agreed to take space in Skygardens – the most expensive ever office in London’s Soho.
Sources say Osborne’s company, Hedosophia, has signed up to pay a record £120 per sq ft to move into the Soho Skygardens, which is expected to complete next year.
The Skygardens site is owned by Travelex tycoon Sir Lloyd Dorfman.
Hedosophia is taking on the entire three floors of office space, which equates to around 18,400 sq ft, on a five-year lease, with the option to extend for a further five years.
Osborne is arguably the most influential force behind the surging number of special purpose acquisition companies that have launched in the US in recent years.
