Helical Bar and Abbeygate have begun construction of a 2,180 sq. m (23,464 sq. ft) speculative office development in Milton Keynes.
Midsummer Court is on a site adjoining the CBX II office complex, already acquired by Helical and Abbeygate from the Commission for the New Towns. Midsummer Court will have a glazed frontage to Midsummer Boulevard, with two floors of air-conditioned offices on upper floors, three ground floor units for A1, A2 and A3 uses and 80 spaces in an adjoining car park.
Completion is scheduled for November 1999. Lambert Smith Hampton and Jones Lang LaSalle have been appointed joint agents, and the quoting rent is expected to be set in the region of £161 per sq m (£15 per sq. ft).
