Helical Bar has bought the 70,000 sq ft home of Reuters at 37-45 City Road, EC1, for £17.6m.
The firm bought Maple House, in the heart of Tech City, from a private family trust.
The building has vacant possession from October, at which point Helical Bar will undertake a refurbishment of it.
Executive director at Helical, Matthew Bonning-Snook, said: “We continue to increase our investment in areas of Central London where we see realistic pricing, genuine rental growth potential and an opportunity to add value.”
