Helical Retail has agreed to prelet most of its retail parks in Norwich and Bolton, and will be putting both schemes on the market with a likely combined value of nearly £50m.
Deals at Norwich Retail Park are being finalised with Maples, Pet City, Scottish Power, Furnitureland, Anglian Home Furnishings and Great Mills. Rents are between £130 and £140 per m2 (£12 and £13 per sq ft).
Helical acquired the site from Great Mills’ parent company, RMC. Work on the 13,470m2 (145,000 sq ft) scheme, which is opposite a Sainsbury’s superstore on the A47, starts on site in the summer.
Healey & Baker and St Quintin are the agents.
In Bolton, Helical and agents Harvey Spack Field and Oliver Liggins are rumoured to have agreed prelets on some of the 11,344m2 (122,000 sq ft) Boltongates scheme to PC World, Currys, Carpet Depot, H&C and Carpetland.
