Helical has hired JP Morgan Cazenove’s former head of real estate investment banking as it shakes up its non-executive bench.
Robert Fowlds will take a seat on the board immediately, and in April will be joined by former KPMG partner Amanda Aldridge.
Fowlds has worked in property for more than four decades, and was head of real estate investment banking at JP Morgan until 2015. Before that he was an equity analyst at Merrill Lynch.
His other roles have included non-executive directorships at LondonMetric Property and UK Commercial Property REIT.
Aldridge worked at KPMG for 33 years until 2017, including 20 years as a partner. Her roles at the firm included head of the retail sector practice.
She is a non-executive director of Impact Healthcare REIT, the Brunner Investment Trust, Staffline Group and the Low Carbon Contracts Company.
She is expected to take over as chair of Helical’s audit and risk committee when Joe Lister departs the role.
