Henderson Global Investors has unveiled proposals for a £25m redevelopment of its Weavers Wharf retail park in Kidderminster town centre in Worcestershire.
Plans for an extension of the park include a 59,800 sq ft anchor store, three restaurants totalling 9,700 sq ft, 2,200 sq ft of cafés and a new bridge over the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal.
The redevelopment would add a further 20% of floorspace to the 325,000 sq ft retail park.
Work is expected to start on site in mid-2014 and complete in summer 2016.
