Henry Boot has established a new executive committee to focus on the non-commercial elements of business success.
The exco will comprise of the existing members of the developer’s operations board plus general counsel and company secretary Amy Stanbridge and head of HR Rachel White.
The firm said the new group, chaired by chief executive Tim Roberts (pictured), would be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives across the group in line with the main board’s objective of “sharpening Henry Boot’s strategic focus on its three key markets: industrial & logistics, residential and urban development”.
New members Stanbridge and White have have a particular focus on producing an ESG policy for the group and a people strategy for success planning and talent management. The exco will also seek to promote equality, diversity and inclusion within the business.
Roberts said: ”While the commercial element of the business will always remain a high-level priority, I wanted to broaden the discussion and debate amongst our senior team to ensure wider strategic objectives and initiatives are being set alongside our commercial targets.”
The members of the new executive committee are:

- Nick Duckworth, managing director of Hallam Land Management
- Ed Hutchinson, managing director of HBD
- Darren Stubbs, managing director of Stonebridge Homes
- Simon Carr, managing director of Henry Boot Construction
- Giles Boot, managing director of Banner Plant
- Amy Stanbridge, general counsel and company secretary
- Rachel White, head of HR
