Henry Boot Developments and the Markey Group have sold two student accommodation developments for a combined £18.7m.
The jv partners sold the 86-bedroom Centregate and 77-bedroom The Colston to Sunway Residence.
Julian Painter, director at HBD and head of its Bristol office, said: “Both prime assets, Centregate and The Colston were HBD’s first foray into the student accommodation market, which has proved very successful.
“Both have a solid trading history, are extremely well located and are designed to the highest standards, so we’ve no doubt that they will continue to perform well.”
HBD has a development pipeline of more than £1.6bn, comprising big-brand retail, office, logistics and residential premises.
