Henry Boot Developments has unveiled plans for a 577,500 sq ft green shed on its £250m Markham Vale scheme in north Derbyshire.
The shed has been dubbed the “Green Giant” because of its wind turbine and solar panels. Plans have also been submitted for a 105,000 sq ft warehouse.
The two sheds will occupy 37 acres of the 200-acre former colliery site. Building will start in July. King Sturge has been appointed as sole agent.
