Thierry Henry has applied to demolish his £5.9m north London house so he can replace it with a larger property.
The Arsenal striker wants to incorporate a four-storey aquarium running from the bottom to the top of the property. Rebuild costs will be about £2m but The Mail on Sunday says the final property is likely to be worth at least £10m. The Twentieth Century Society is considering applying for the existing building to be listed to block the demolition plan. Camden council will debate Henry’s application next month.
