Preston Hall, the former estate of Henry VIII’s mother-in-law near Aylesford, Kent, is to be turned into 36 luxury apartments by Weston Homes.
The 53,686sq ft house, parts of which date back to 1102, was once owned by the Culpepers, whose descendant Catherine Howard became Henry VIII’s fifth wife.
