Hickson International is planning a £30m disposal by the end of next month to cut gearing. It has already reduced operating sites by 18 from this time last year. It is moving its head office from central Leeds to its Castleford factory site but has failed to re-let the Leeds premises.
It reported a collapse in interim pre-tax profits from £6.1m to £1m.
