The Department of Trade and Industry has awarded Hickson & Welch a £1.5m regional selective assistance grant. The company plans to expand its chemicals manufacturing business at its Castleford site in West Yorkshire. The grant will go towards a £12m investment in new plant and associated infrastructure.
