The lord chief justice will hear a legal challenge to Brexit in the High Court over two days in October.
The challenge relates to whether MPs should have a vote on invoking Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty which would trigger the Brexit process.
The government confirmed in court on Tuesday that it did not plan to trigger Brexit this year.
