Highbridge Properties is to spec over 18,910 sq m (203,555 sq ft) of mixed industrial space on its 4.8ha (11.9 acre) site at Manvers in the Dearne Valley Enterprise Zone.
Guy Marsden, managing director at Highbridge, said: “We firmly believe there’s robust demand out there for a mixed industrial scheme to be built to a high standard – we’re very confident of letting the space – the time’s right.”
The whole scheme will be built in a single phase and completion will be in January 2001.
Marsden added: “We’re dealing with two inquiries at the moment – one’s for 17,000 sq ft and the other’s for 25,000 sq ft – but it’s early days.”
Letting agent Insignia Richard Ellis is quoting rents of between £43 and £44 per sq m (£4 and £4.50 per sq ft).
