HIH Invest has closed a £113m deal to buy a prime City office block from Turkish private equity group Esas Holding.
The German group has bought 15 Fetter Lane, EC4, a recently refurbished block on the western edge of the City, in a return to the London office market after a six-year hiatus.
Capreon, the advisory arm of property investor Leo Noé’s Noé Group, acted for the Turkish family office on the sale.
The building, which contains 85,000 sq ft of offices, was refurbished in 2017. It is fully occupied with corporate tenants including law firms Marks & Clerk, Peters & Peters, and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Mishcon De Reya and Cains advised on the legal side of the deal. Savills advised the seller.
Raphael Noé, partner at Capreon, said: “Capreon’s asset management expertise has added value to 15 Fetter Lane during our years of ownership. We are pleased to have completed this transaction and enjoyed working with the parties involved.”
