Hill and Goram Homes team up for £55m Bristol resi scheme

Housebuilder Hill and Bristol City Council housing company Goram Homes have formed a joint venture to build a £55m residential scheme in Bristol.

The jv will see 165 new homes built in the Floating Harbour.

Roughly 100 homes will be for private sale and 66 homes will be affordable, 75% of which will be affordable rented accommodation.

In addition, more than 3,000 sq ft of commercial space will be built.

Construction is earmarked to start in late 2020.

Andy Hill, chief executive of Hill, said: “The scheme will see the area transformed into a fantastic new waterside location, with a new public square, wildlife-friendly green spaces and commercial units that will add significant value to Baltic Wharf.”
