Jonathan Hillcox, the former national head of investment at Jones Lang LaSalle, is to join GVA Grimley as a partner.
Hillcox will join the national investment team in April, and will divide his time between Birmingham and London. The team includes London-based Rob Bould and Chris Gillum.
Hillcox has been considering his options after being made redundant from JLL last December. He said: “This position allows me to focus on the growth of Birminghams investment business, while also developing a broader UK and European investment role.”
Hillcoxs appointment comes as FPDSavills has taken on Hapri Sehmi, formerly an associate in GVA Grimleys Birmingham investment department.
Semhi and Savills have been in negotiations for over a year for her to join its Birmingham office, where she will establish and lead an investment department.
