Hillview Real Estate has re-signed one occupier and secured a new tenant at its Edmund Gardens scheme in Birmingham.
Construction firm Mace has renewed its lease at 1 Edmund Gardens, while engineering consultancy Sweco UK has signed for 2,075 sq ft at 4 Edmund Gardens, which was recently refurbished to provide a fully fitted office space.
Mace, which has called the building home since 2004, signed for 8,200 sq ft.
Both companies have signed five-year leases. Quoting rents on the space where Mace is based are believed to be around £30 per sq ft, while rents at The Loft, where Sweco has signed, are understood to be £35 per sq ft.
Evan Corcoran, asset manager at Hillview, said: “Demand for the new plug-and-play space that Sweco UK took was very strong and, consequently, we are in the process of rolling out additional fully fitted units at the estate.”
Edmund Gardens comprises five mixed-use buildings around a courtyard totalling 67,510 sq ft. Hillview and Shir Shlomo Real Estate acquired the site for £21m from DTZ Investors in 2022.
Hillview was advised by Savills and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
