Hilton and Dominvs plan new UK hotels

Hilton has extended its partnership with investment firm Dominvs Group to build four new hotels in Bath and London.

This will include the first hotel operating under new urban lifestyle brand Motto by Hilton, which will be located in Marylebone in central London.

Also under construction are the St Paul’s Creed Court Hotel at 3 Ludgate Hill, EC4M, operating as Curio Collection by Hilton; and Hampton by Hilton hotels in Bath and Aldgate.

The Hampton by Hilton Bath will offer 206 rooms and will open in 2022, while the hotel in Aldgate will comprise 120 guest rooms at 12-20 Osborne Street, E1, and is expected to launch in 2021.

St Paul’s Creed Court Hotel London will provide 145 rooms and will open in 2022.

The schemes will add more than 500 new hotel rooms to the UK market.

Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice-president of development, EMEA, Hilton, said: “Hilton’s brands are growing rapidly in the UK, with more than 180 hotels trading or under development.

“We’re seeing growing consumer demand at every price point and these hotels will add exceptional new rooms in prestigious urban locations. Dominvs Group is a key partner, and has the vision and expertise to bring these projects to fruition.”

Dominvs has more than 22 projects at various development stages throughout the UK.

Hilton operates more than 145 hotels in the UK under seven brands. It is set to open more than 35 hotels in the next two years in locations such as Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and London.
