Hilton Hotel Corporation has appointed Christie & Co to sell two of its biggest hotels in the UK.
The hotel giant announced that it would be selling £400m of hotels, including the 1,054-bedroom Hilton London Metropole and 794-bedroom Hilton Birmingham Metropole, in November.
The two properties are being offered for sale with the benefit of a long term management agreement with Hilton.
The Hilton London Metropole is offered for freehold sale, while the Hilton Birmingham Metropole is held under a long lease.
“We anticipate strong interest in these properties from both UK and international investors,” said Christie & Co managing director Chris Day.
