Hilton Group is considering a joint-bid with Strategic Hotel Capital (SHC) and Sol Melia for Granada Compass’s £3.5bn hotel portfolio.
US-based SHC and the Spanish Sol Melia group are thought to have put £2bn each into an investment fund and Hilton £500m.
Hilton said it remained interested in linking with other partners.
