Hilton Group is selling nine hotels for £68.8m to Norwich Union.
The hotels, which include a mixture of Stakis and Hilton hotels, are to be operated by Jarvis Hotels.
They were earmarked for sale after a review of the combined Hilton and Stakis portfolios, following Hilton’s takeover of Stakis earlier this year.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce group debt, Hilton said.
The hotels to be sold are two Hilton Nationals in Bristol and Livingston, Stakis hotels in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Gourock, Leeds, London Harewood and Perth and The Royal Berkshire in Ascot.
