Hilton invites offers of £100m for 11 hotels

Hilton Group plans to put 11 hotels up for sale in the UK with a price tag set at about £100m.

The disposals list is believed to include former Stakis properties in locations including Dunblane, East Kilbride, Norwich and Corby, Northamptonshire, as well as the Hilton Grosvenor in Edinburgh and the Hilton London Mews in Mayfair.

The hotels, sold through Christie & Co, are mainly regional units in marginal locations or smaller hotels in cities where Hilton operates bigger establishments.

The company is also adding new management contracts, with hotels in Canary Wharf and Tower Bridge – both in London – in the pipeline. It has already announced four contracts in the UK.
