Manchester-based group Himor has submitted plans for Gresty Oaks, a £51m housing-led development near Crewe in Cheshire.
The proposals include up to 880 new homes, of which a significant number could be affordable homes; a retirement village, which is set to comprise a 90-bed care home and 40 independent homes; a district centre, to include a pub and convenience food store; and a 420-place primary school and community hall.
Himor said that Gresty Oaks would be developed in the form of a garden suburb which would, together with the committed Basford East and Basford West proposals, form a new “strategic southern gateway” for the town.
GVA advised Himor.
