Farnham’s historic Bush Hotel comes to market for £12m

Independently owned Bush Hotel in Farnham has come to the market with a price tag of £12m by way of a Company Share Transfer.

The vendor has appointed Knight Frank and independent hotel brokerage firm Simon Stevens Associates as joint selling agents.

The Grade II listed hotel, comprising 95 bedrooms, has recently undergone significant investment and refurbishment.

In addition to the hotel operations, the property offers opportunities for branding and asset management, and includes an investment element generating approximately £60,000 in annual income from three adjoining retail units.

The hotel also benefits from various approved planning permissions that support future business growth, including the potential to extend the building to 132 bedrooms and to add a ground-floor orangery with capacity for 100 guests, opening directly onto the hotel’s gardens.

Matthew Smith, partner at Knight Frank, said: “As the only independent hotel of scale in Farnham, a new owner will benefit from the hotel’s strong industry reputation, high customer satisfaction and financial performance, with the potential for further expansion.”
