HMV has confirmed that it will close three stores, with 10 more in danger unless landlords agree to lower rents.
HMV’s in Bury St Edmunds and Nuneaton and a Fopp in Glasgow will shut at the end of January, with new tenants already lined-up to move in to the properties.
HMV said it could no longer keep the stores open due to “extortionate” business rates.
