Hogan Lovells into Colmore Plaza

Colmore-Plaza-THUMB.jpegHogan Lovells has struck a deal for a new office in Carlyle Group’s Colmore Plaza in central Birmingham.

The law firm has taken the 7,620 sq ft 10th floor on a 10-year lease at an undisclosed rent.

The office will open by the end of this year and will be managed by partner Alan Greenough. It will open with five lawyers initially, growing to at least 10 by the end of January 2015.  The centre will operate as an extension of the firm’s London office.

The firm was attracted to the scheme’s flexible floorplates.

Existing occupiers at Colmore Plaza include Marsh, Investec Wealth and Investment and Aecom.

JLL advised Hogan Lovells; GVA represented Carlyle Group.
