Real estate consultancy Hollis has begun a period of “proactive growth” with the acquisition of Launder Steedman, a business specialising in commercial property service charges.
As part of the deal, Launder Steedman’s founder and owner Nick Launder will join Hollis as a consultant. He brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of service charges, spanning some 25 years, with a track record of making substantial savings for blue-chip and major commercial property occupiers, including Vue Entertainment, Hollywood Bowl, Co-operative Bank, Staycity, Booker Retail Partners, Azzuri and Beavertown Brewery.
Hollis said the acquisition was a strategic decision to grow its service charge offering, which is led by director Iain Feasey, and represents “the start of a period of proactive growth” for the firm. It currently operates out of more than 20 offices throughout the UK and Europe.
