Ten-pin bowling company Hollywood Bowl Group has renegotiated leases at two of its centres, as well as making progress on its refurbishment programme.
It has signed a 25-year extension on the lease at its site in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, taking its tenancy to 2046.
It has also signed a 14-year extension at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, taking the lease out to 2037.
It has rebranded its site in Cwmbran, Wales, under the Hollywood Bowl banner and completed a £300,000 refurbishment at Bentley Bridge, Wolverhampton.
Centres in Ashford, Kent, and Tolworth, Kingston, have been rebranded and refurbished.
The group’s 58th site will open in Dagenham, Essex, in late September.
Chief financial officer Laurence Keen, said: “We are pleased to have further strengthened our property portfolio. We have now successfully completed the refurbishment or rebrand of 55% of our estate and we continue to build strong relationships with landlords across the UK.
“Stevenage and Tunbridge Wells are two of our most popular centres, and the successful renegotiation of their rent agreements reinforces the attractiveness of Hollywood Bowl Group as a key leisure tenant.”
