Drugstore group Home Bargains is to open 30 shops in the North of England and the Midlands.
The drugstore chain, part of TJ Morris, is already in the midst of a 70-store expansion programme. It says the campaign will now continue into 2003.
It is searching for units up to 740 sq m (8,000 sq ft) in the North East, North Wales, North West and Midlands.
Liverpool-based retail specialist Nigel Bennett, which is advising Home Bargains, said: “We already have 20 units in solicitors’ hands but are still looking for more.”
