The Home Office has agreed to prelet a further two buildings at CLS Holdings’ Spring Gardens Estate in Vauxhall, SE11.
The 171,400 sq ft six-building business park, which is used by the National Criminal Intelligence Service, is currently solely let to the Home Office following the relocation of CLS’s own offices in December.
The Home Office has exercised an option to prelet a further two buildings totalling 27,000 sq ft.
Both buildings will be completed in December after receiving planning consent last summer.
The Home Office will take a lease to 2026 upon completion at £32 per sq ft on the first 10,175 sq ft building and at £30.50 per sq ft on the second 16,770 sq ft building.
The Home Office has also extended other existing leases so that the whole estate will be let until 2026.
Executive chairman Sten Mortstedt said: “‘This substantially enhances the value of one of our most significant UK holdings and represents the conclusion of many years of co-operation with the Home Office. We are pleased to have secured the Home Office as a long term tenant.”
