Sainsbury will build their 30th Homebase house and garden centre on 5-acres at Station Road, New Southgate, N11. The site is a former gas works, sold by Eastern Gas.
The £1.7m project is being built by John Willmot and has been designed by Elsworth Sykes Partnership. It consists of a 35,000-sq ft store with 283 car-parking spaces. Sainsbury expect to open the Homebase next winter.
