Homes England’s chief investment officer, Harry Swales, is leaving the role after eight years to join Dorrington Homes.
Swales was previously executive director in the markets, partners, and places directorate. Prior to Homes England, Swales held senior roles as principle of development at Brockton Capital, director at Royal Bank of Scotland and associate partner at Stace.
At Homes England he led the long-term strategy of the investment directorate with a view to delivering government strategy, in respect of housing supply using equity and debt and guarantees.
A spokesperson for Homes England told EG: “Harry’s investment expertise and leadership approach have been crucial to the evolution of Homes England since its inception, and he has been pivotal in shaping the agency’s new direction in housing and regeneration.
“Harry has shown his passion and commitment to our mission and partnership ethos, as well as being a fantastic champion for our early careers programme here at Homes England.”
