Homes England has signed logistics provider Revolution Transport for a 10-year lease at its industrial facility near Warrington.
The logistics firm has agreed to occupy the 116,995 sq ft warehouse at 27 Leacroft Road as part of its expansion plan.
It is a single-storey warehouse located near the M6 and the M62.
Guy Jackson, a director in the industrial team at Lambert Smith Hampton, which advised Homes England on the letting, said: “Location and timing were critical for Revolution Transport. We were able to provide the unit for the company quickly, in a location as close as possible to their existing site.
“This letting is also testimony that demand is still strong in the big box sector, where we are now seeing businesses take a more strategic view and developers actively building speculative units in the region to meet the continued demand, even in these uncertain times.”
Alan Doyle, estates manager at Homes England, said: “Achieving such a successful outcome is only achieved by hard work, collaboration and determination, so much credit goes to all involved in making this happen.”
Eddisons jointly advised on the leasing deal alongside LSH.
