CCA, the Hong Kong property group, has set aside around &£163;70m to buynew properties in the south of England.
Head of CCA Dieter Klostermann says he is looking at a number of privatehouses with a view to turning them into conference and golf centres.
Last year CCA paid £10m for Brocket Hall, the Hertfordshire statelyhome which had already been turned into a golf and conference centre by thenow jailed Lord Brocket.
