Hong Kong property tycoon guilty

One of Hong Kong’s richest property tycoons, Thomas Kwok, has been found guilty in the city’s biggest corruption trial.

Kwok, the co-chairman of Sun Hung Kai Properties and one of Asia’s richest men, was found guilty of bribing Raphael Hui, as the latter prepared to become the territories chief secretary.

However Raymond Kwok, Thomas Kwok’s brother and co-chair of Sun Hung Kai, was cleared of all four charges against him.

Together the brothers are estimated by Forbes to be worth $21bn.
