Hotel that inspired Fawlty Towers reopens

The Hotel Gleneagles, in Torquay, has reopened.

The hotel was the inspiration for Fawlty Towers after John Cleese, who co-wrote the television sitcom, stayed there in 1971.

The property was saved from bulldozers after a £1m investment in its refurbishment.
