Hotel vision for Church Mission’s Waterloo office

The Church Mission Society has put its offices at Partnership House in Waterloo, SE1, up for sale, with the hope of turning the property into a hotel.

The CMS has appointed Atisreal to sell the 60,000 sq ft property as it prepares to move to new offices in Oxford, in a bid to release capital.

Travelodge, Premier Travel Inn and Accor have all shown interest in turning the office into a hotel of around 300 bedrooms, subject to planning permission for a 60,000 sq ft extension, with offers in excess of its £10m asking price.

Meanwhile, Blakes Hotel in SW7 is about to come to market with a £18m pricetag. The boutique hotel owned by Malaysian-based Atlan Holdings is being sold through Savills.
