The Church Mission Society has put its offices at Partnership House in Waterloo, SE1, up for sale, with the hope of turning the property into a hotel.
The CMS has appointed Atisreal to sell the 60,000 sq ft property as it prepares to move to new offices in Oxford, in a bid to release capital.
Travelodge, Premier Travel Inn and Accor have all shown interest in turning the office into a hotel of around 300 bedrooms, subject to planning permission for a 60,000 sq ft extension, with offers in excess of its £10m asking price.
Meanwhile, Blakes Hotel in SW7 is about to come to market with a £18m pricetag. The boutique hotel owned by Malaysian-based Atlan Holdings is being sold through Savills.
