House of Fraser and Debenhams could take space in Chavasse Park, Liverpool

House of Fraser is considering opening a 11,148 sq m (120,000 sq ft) store, at Chavasse Park in Liverpool. Debenhams could take a store of up to 16,722 sq m (180,000 sq ft). This would make it one of the UK’s largest stores.

Walton Group, developer of the 74,320 sq m (800,000 sq ft) scheme, is appealing to the Millennium Commission to reject a rival scheme proposed by a consortium scheme led by the Dean of Liverpool, the Very Rev Derrick Walters.
